Honey’s birthday was yesterday. I won’t tell you how old he is!?!

He wanted pizza for his birthday dinner. I’m pretty sure he was just trying to be nice. He didn’t want me to cook a big meal in the middle of the first week of homeschooling! He insisted the pizza was really good.
I decided that rather than a birthday cake, we would try something new. We scored big. I made a Malted Milk Chocolate Cheesecake. Holy moley, rocky! It was wonderful. I served it with fresh whipped cream and crushed Whoppers!

Heaven!!! The only huge blessing problem is that there’s 3/4 of it left and it has a gazillion calories.
I’m so blessed to be married to the nicest, funniest guy in the world. I love you, honey, even though I fell asleep at 9:30 last night, and didn’t even have time to visit you after all of our loud, wild children went to bed. I actually went to bed with one of the loud, wild children.
I’m off to discuss Christopher Columbus with Kid 4, and to sort laundry. What I really want to do is start a new knitting project. Maybe tonight…
