This has been a very unusual Christmas for us. Fun, but strange. Our stockings were hung from the railing at our hotel this morning.
And we got our family photo!!!
I’m having a hard time putting my thoughts together. Christmas is about family and time spent together. But far more importantly than that, it’s a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus, our Savior. He was born in a borrowed stable, in the worst of conditions. That’s what Christmas is all about. Not Rodeo Drive or all the materialism that surrounds Christmas.
So this evening, we’re going to take some time to be thankful for family and the gift that God gave at Christmas! Oh, and we’re going out for dinner!
Blessings!
