Passing Down Crazy

Because Sometimes the Best Thing You Can Give Your Kid is an Addiction…To Yarn

OK, It’s OK!

Hey, Lexi Here

We finally arrived in Oklahoma on Sunday night. It’s so hot I can’t even think about yarn! (Maybe it’s not that bad) Never the less, I haven’t gotten much knitting done. The trip took a total of 13 hours, 3 cans of Diet Coke, 3 gas stops, and 2 stops to fix the air conditioner in the motor-home. The further we went, the hotter it got! We parked in the Wal-mart parking lot overnight and roasted. We drove onto the campus at 7:57 am; and as soon as I parked my car, the “move in assistants” bombarded my car. By 8:10 AM, yes AM! I was in my dorm room with all of my stuff. It was amazing!

Like I said, I haven’t got much knitting done, but I do know what I brought along!

Red Jaeger Shetland Aran for “Ginger” from Louisa Harding’s Winter’s Muse Classics

Noro Kureyon for Knitty’s Unbiased

Black Cashmerino Aran for Lace Up Shawl from Leigh Radford’s AlterKnits

Plum Zephyr for the Full Hexagon Spider Web Shawl from Victorian Lace Today\

Lavender Kid Silk Haze for something fun! (Let’s face it, it’s just pretty yarn)

  1. OK that is enough yarn until fall break.

  2. Welcome to the South! (I’m in Texas) Glad you got to OK safely if not a little crisp around the edges.
Your future knitting projects sound great!

  3. Welcome to Oklahoma! Yes, it is phenomenally hot at the moment, but I have high hopes that we’ll have a long, pleasant autumn. 🙂

    Good luck at school!
