New Red Chairs

My new red chairs for my sewing room came a couple weeks ago.  I love them.  They were funky and cheap.

There was only one problem.  They had hard plastic wheels that would scratch my new wood floors.  But my always brilliant college girl told me about coolcasters.com.  They have funky wheels.  So this is what I got.

I now have rollerblade wheels on my chairs.  And I almost doubled the price of my chairs.

The sewing room remodel has been interesting.  The reason you haven’t seen a finished photo is that it isn’t finished.  I ordered a second round of paper for one section.  In the book it was bright red and matched the flowers perfectly.  When it finally came, after having been backordered, it was orange.  It’s going in the basement, because I really do like it.  So I still have one section that I don’t know what to do with.  I may have to paint.

I also realized something about my Crazy Bedspread Project.  It’s going to make for some lousy blogging.  I’ve added about 10 rows to it this week.  Do you think that will show on a photo?  And I can promise you I’m not taking that thing off the needles again.  So I’m going to have to work on other things or make stuff up or something.

Oh, dinner is served.  Thank you Pizza Hut!

  1. Oh! And you can make quilted red flower tie-back pads for the chairs, too!

  2. When I was knitting my FF&L’s, the progress slowed so that every post sounded like whining. Keep showing us your sewing room and we’ll be happy.

  3. Hi Maria – love your blog and enjoy seeing the progress on your sewing room! Would you mind sharing the pertinent info on your new chairs – they’re beutiful and I’m in the market for a new one in my sewing area.
    Thank you.

  4. Weeeeee, with those wheels, if you aren’t careful, you could end up in the neighbor’s yard!

  5. I love your chairs (not to mention your whole sewing room) and they don’t look cheap but very modern.

  6. Love the chair! did you buy that online?
