I was going to work on my taupe and white quilt. I had it all set out, ready to go. But something else was calling my name. I’m easily swayed by talking yarn.
It’s Hyrna Herborgar. And I love it. I promise you I’ll do a better post on it soon!
You have to see this beautiful quilt. I’m so happy with it.
The only problem is that I didn’t make it and it’s not mine! Dianne made this Monterey Medallion using Moda Chocolat. Actually, I made one of my own and finished it this winter.
Oh, and Georgie had a girlfriend over today too. Meet Phoebe!
Let me tell you. It was like canine Nascar around here for a while. Those girls raced!
It’s 1:45 AM and I need to sleep fast, because there is quilting going on around here in about six hours! G’night!

Canine Nascar! And quilting (knitting?) , to boot! The two girls on the red chair are priceless!

I love that shawl! The color is devine. I have knit the pattern twice, once in teal and again in white.
I laughed at the Canine Nascar comment. Funny.

I can just picture the ‘puppy preakness’!
Love the quilt, and what a different pattern that shawl is. I’m going to check it out, I really like it!

Your shawl is beautiful! When I saw the beginnings of it in an earlier posting, I wasn’t impressed, but now it’s great.
I am also a quilter (and a mother of 5 too!) and I used to go to a quilt retreat every summer and loved it. I miss going but the lady who held the retreats doesn’t want to do it any more.
