The perfect picture of freedom…..not! Kid 4 decided she needed to dress up for the occasion, and she’s on a leash because she’s naughty!
I have a new project.
There are beads. Lots of them!
There are yarnovers. Lots of them!
The pattern is Hydrangea, by Susan Pandorf. It’s the third pattern in her Garden Varieties series. I’m test knitting it right now. I think the release date is July 22.
I’m using 3,000 6/0 beads!!! The yarn is Great Adirondack Soxie, colorway Hydrangea. I couldn’t believe the coincidence in the yarn name. Hopefully there will be lots of updates in the next week.
There should be lots of knitting time coming up. We’re heading for the Black Hills of South Dakota tomorrow. Kid 2 will be home from her Romania missions trip in the morning and we’re leaving right after that.
I still have to show you completed shots of Hyrna Herborgar. I’ll see if one of the guys will model for me. You know, the guys at Mt. Rushmore. A photo shoot there should totally embarrass my kids!
I’m off to pack and clean up this house. Later today, we’re off to a small town parade. They’re the best kind. Honey is driving an old truck and the kids get to throw candy!
Happy July 4th, everyone!
