I’ve made an executive decision. All mens sweaters from now until the end of time shall have 3/4 sleeves. What? You don’t like that idea? Let me tell you why. Better yet, I’ll show you.
Do these sleeves look the same length? If you voted no, you win!!! I was knitting along last night bemoaning the fact that these sleeves weren’t growing. I informed Honey that his sweater was going to have 3/4 length sleeves. He just laughed. A little later I took a break and measured his sleeve length. He jokingly informed me that his arms weren’t the same length.
I went back to knitting. I knit. I knit more. I stopped to look at my cables, and realized to my horror, that the sleeve on the right was missing a cable twist. My first reaction was to leave it. After all, Honey told me his arms weren’t the same length.
But I absolutely love this sweater. (It’s this sweater knit with Yorkshire Tweed Aran, color Hero. And the yarn is discontinued.)
So I ripped out a bunch of rows and I’m gonna fix it!
Here’s the artsy shot, taken in my bedroom.
Someone comment about the fact that we have more than one tree. Um….it’s kind of like the number of WIPs I have. Do I need to do a parade of trees? I will fully disclose that no beautiful trees were cut down to decorate my house. They just get dragged out of cardboard boxes stored in the recesses of my basement.
I just need to reiterate one thing. If men’s sweaters had 3/4 sleeves, I’d be almost done!
Oh, and one other thing. I ate pecan pie for breakfast this morning. Scandalous, isn’t it?
