Do you want to see a picture of my stealth project?
Does that help? According to my calculations, I’m 1/4 of the way through it. I started on Sunday. Lets just say that I’ve been knitting when I’m supposed to be sleeping. Gee, I wonder why I can’t get rid of this cold?
Last night, I made pork tenderloin and sweet potatoes with chipotle cream. I’m pretty sure the sweet potatoes are as close to heaven as I’m going to get. (Well, chocolate may be the exception.)
I also tried the granola bars. Let’s just say I had to hide them. I used mini M&M’s, found in the baking aisle. I could have used half the amount of M&M’s. They’re pretty sweet. I cut them the size and shape of purchased granola bars. I happened to have a box of snack size ziploc bags. They fit perfectly. Hiding anything from all these kids is a trick! I wish I’d been able to hide them from me, but I’m not that forgetful yet! I do want to play with the recipe and try cinnamon, nutmeg, and dried cranberries. I think my kids would like sunflower seeds in them too. I may even hide some wheat germ in them! Shhh!!!! Don’t tell them.
I mentioned in yesterdays post that there’s a child in Frankie’s class that has a peanut allergy. What a scary thing that would be for a mom! The kids in the class are so sweet about it and so careful. I know I’ve had to learn to read ingredient labels!
Here’s Ms In Charge, working on her Bible lesson. The laziest dog in history is helping her! That dog will sit forever!
I need to go read a history lesson! Hopefully, I’ll have a chance to knit some more on the stealth project today. There’s always midnight!
