A Parade of Poodles

They’re finished!

Four poodle skirts!

They’re not perfect, which drives me crazy.  You’d never know it if you looked at my messy house, but I have perfectionistic tendencies when it comes to knitting and sewing.  However, they’re going to be worn by a girls’ chorus for about 5 minutes.

And now for the awwwwwww shot!

Four poodles and a Bichon Frise’.

I’m off to clean up my messy house.  Yes, I’m aware that it’s 11:15 PM.  I’ve got almost three good hours left.

  1. Those are tooo cute! It’s not bed time until about 2am most days anyway…I can always get more stuff done when everyone’s asleep anyway. Have a great day!

  2. You did a beautiful job on those skirts! The girls will love wearing them. I love the look on your pup’s face – like he wants to be part of the crowd. 🙂

I do my best cleaning when no one is around also, but the stereo needs to be blaring The Moody Blues or something….

  3. Aha! Just what I thought — you don’t sleep! Now I won’t feel so bad about being such a slacker.

Love the poodle skirts — and everything else you do. This is the first place I go to each day when I get to Google Reader. Keep up the good work; I enjoy so much.

  4. I do it the opposite I get up at 5 when Tom leaves and get things done, go take a nap and when I get up at 8:15 its like the magician came in and did tricks with the place

the skirts are adorable!! And so is the pup My sister has one who doesn’t like women including her but whenever I visit he spends the whole time on my lap! His name is Lappy!

  5. We’ve got to be related somehow. Except you got all the knitting, and apparently sewing, talent. Sheesh. MARCIA, MARCIA, MARCIA!!!1

  6. I love your blog, but “the frosting on the cake” is your Bichon. I had one from 1990 to 2003. Your dog reminds me of Teddy. You have a beautiful family and a ton of energy!

  7. They’re adorable! I love the little details like the rhinestones on the collar and the eyelashes! Your energy is unmatched!

  8. Definitely an “Awwwwwwww!” photo! Thanks for the smile. Cute skirts!

  9. Your dog SO knows he’s cuter than those applique dogs.
You make me miss that circle skirt i had when eight: black pinwale and red lining! When we twirled our skirts in the church basement mine went up the highest- straight out 🙂 I hope yours have the same perfect weight to ripple snappingly when twirled!

  10. nocturnal cleaning…it’s the best…no interruptions…only hold back is I can’t run the vaccuum cleaner. But its as if the “clean fairies” visited in the morning…

BTW…love the skirts…love that they are yellow!

  11. Your bichon frise is just absolute cuteness! 🙂 Love the whiskers!
