Passing Down Crazy

Because Sometimes the Best Thing You Can Give Your Kid is an Addiction…To Yarn

Still In Process!

I’ve only finished one thing from my last post!  I got my Crackberry to sinc (is that a word?) to my computer with a little help from My Hero.

Ms In-Charge’s cardigan sleeves are veryslowly growing, but I’m pretty sure I see lots of knitting time in the near future!!!

I’m STILL stitching binding.  I’m pretty sure that it’s 4 miles around that quilt.  2 PM:  Done and on the bed.

The Groovy pillow is embroidered.  Now I just need to put it together and stuff it.

The quilt for The Genius is so close, but I probably won’t finish it today.  Here’s a glimpse.

I just need to attach two more rows and add the border.  I’m suppressing the thought of quilting it.  The backing came yesterday though.

And for all my knitter friends, this will make you happy.  Only there’s something wrong with this photo.

What is that sunscreen doing in the background?  That doesn’t go with wool yarn.  Yes, folks.  It’s time for our biennial (Yes, that’s every other year.  I had to look it up!) trip with my extended family.  That’s why I said there would be lots of knitting in my future.  Nine whole days!!!  This year there will only be 22 of us, because one family is off on another adventure.  Maybe I’ll share that later if I have their permisssion.    Here’s our family photo from two years ago.

As usual, it’s taking me longer to figure out my knitting than it does to pack all our clothes.  I wound yarn for a very long time this morning.

Oh, and speaking of family?!?  Have any of you followed the auction for this quilt?  It was then re-auctioned by Fat Quarter Shop.  (I’d love it if you’d take the time to read about Benson and Claire.  They could use your prayers!) Yes, this has something to do with my family.  The “Mysterious Amy D.” ended up winning the quilt.  I know her!  She’s my sister-in-law.  (It’s really too bad she had to purchase a quilt.  I should teach her how to quilt, huh?)  Anyway, Amy will support and pray for Benson and Claire for a very long time!  That’s just the way she is.  She really is one of the nicest people I know.  I know she’d be thrilled if, because of her support, some of you would be moved to help Benson and Claire as well.

Ok, I’m back to all of my “in process” stuff.  I’d better get busy because our plane leaves in 24 hours.
