Can you tell that we’re not in Minnesota?
We’re not in Hawaii either. We’re hanging out in Mexico.
I have to tell you the “Duh, Aloha” story though. We took all five kids to Hawaii when the two youngest were about 2 and 4. I bought Ms In Charge a hula outfit for her Barbie. Some time after we were back home, I listened in on one of her Barbie conversations. The two Barbies were chatting away, and I heard one of them say, “Duh, Aloha”. It’s been a favorite family quote since then!
So, back to our travels from Minnesota to Mexico. I started a scarf the night before we left so I wouldn’t strangle anyone on the plane!!! I had about 3 inches completed. While we were waiting at the Minneapolis airport, I tried to get every member of my family to guess how long the scarf would be by the time we got to our condo. Most of them were party poopers and wouldn’t play. Ms In Charge guessed 18 inches. My Hero guessed 10 inches. Please! Does this man not know anything about my warp speed knitting after 23 years???
I’m using Berroco Jasper and The Yarn Harlots One Row Scarf pattern.
I suppose you want to know how long the scarf is.
Isn’t it pretty? And oh so soft!
I took a couple of power naps on the plane. We waited in line for immigration forever!!! I consumed a couple diet cokes.
It’s 29 inches long. My Hero’s guess stinks. Did he really think I’d only knit another 7 inches.
