Passing Down Crazy

Because Sometimes the Best Thing You Can Give Your Kid is an Addiction…To Yarn

Yep, I’m Crazy

Minnesota winters make you do crazy things.

Yes, that is a purple stripe.  I had a hard time getting a good photo because my photographer is 9 years old and is more interested in playing in the snow.  And I was sitting in the bright sun!

You may remember the pink stripe.  Actually, we were going for red, but got pink.  On Thursday, I decided it was time to try for red again, but my stylist (poor woman!) found out that the product I purchased wasn’t going to work.  So we decided on purple.  And I like it.  It’s more subtle than the photo, but it’s still purple.

And to prove that I do wear my shawls, Frankie also took this photo.

Someone that knows me pretty well asked me when I learned to crochet.  She couldn’t believe it was knit.  Here are the shawl details, if you’re interested.  Oh, that post makes me long for summer!

I’m totally sick of everything I’m knitting at the moment. I think I’ll go wind some colorful yarn.  Have you noticed that I love color?

  1. Ok, I don’t even LIKE football, but all I think of right now at the mention of purple is the Vikes… Very pretty shawl!

Oh, and I got a ravelry ID and stayed up VERY LATE surfing all the good stuff out there & I can barely crochet!

  2. I love the purple! I wish I had the courage to try it. I work for a bank and don’t think it would be a good idea.

  3. That looks familiar somehow… Didn’t I do that purple thing last year?
