I’ve been a monogamous knitter for an entire week. I’m working on the Counterpane Blouse, and it’s going really well.
I screwed up the lace pattern on the bottom section one time. I used another needle to pick up the stitches further back and ripped out about 8 rows. Now I’m paying attention!!!
Love the back!!! I’m having to knit the bottom from two skeins, because one skein was very different from the other three. The one is much more yellow. Even by rotating the skeins, the skirt looks brighter. I’m sure it will be just fine when I wear it.
We’re getting pretty good at doing nothing. I do think my favorite time of day is at sunset. We’re still spending a lot of time on the deck in the morning, and then again at the end of the day.
From the rising of the sun to the place where it sets, the name of the LORD is to be praised. Psalm 113:3
Today is a beach day. Tonight we’re going into town to bum around and find some dinner. I grilled steaks last night, so tonight we need to find food cooked by someone else! They can do the dishes too! And I’m feeling the need for some seafood!
I hear the sand calling. Or it might be a kid asking for the 6th time if we can go to the beach. Either way, it’s time!
