I’m home! It’s cold! The forecast is for the the coldest Thanksgiving in over 20 years. But the sun is shining and it’s not raining, so its all good!!!
There’s knitting on the needles. Miles of knitting!
It’s one of those ruffled scarves. By the time I’m done, I will have over 2,000 stitches on the needles. The yarn is Luscious by Blue Moon Fiber Arts. I said before that I wanted Peru in every color that BMFA does. Now I want Luscious in every color as well. It’s 100% silk and it’s heavenly. I’m thinking to add to the insanity of 2,000 stitches, there needs to be Kidsilk Haze and beads on the outside.
I took a better photo of the yarn I spun the other day. I’m always so amazed when I look at other peoples photos of their roving and then the finished yarn, so here’s my before and after.
The info is on my previous post, if you’re wondering where I got the roving. I could relink, but I’m too lazy.
Projects for today:
1. Try to stay awake. I don’t know why I’m so tired. All I did yesterday was fly. Big deal.
2. Unpack suitcase. There’s lots of miscellaneous yarn stuff.
3. Come up with a wonderful dinner without going to the grocery store!
Yep! Home is wonderful. Guess who was the happiest to see me? The dog! I wish we had a video. She howled, and wiggled, and just generally went nuts. She hasn’t left my side since. It’s nice to have one “person” that totally and completely adores me!
Have a great weekend, everyone. And may it include some knitting, quilting, or spinning!!!
