Ok, I need to write fast, because Mom’s Taxi Service begins in ten minutes!
Quilting…lots of it! I finished this last week Monday and forgot to blog it.
This was a jelly roll sampler by Moose On The Porch Quilts. I started it last March. The fabric is Birdie by Me and My Sister for Moda.
I put this together last night.
The hand buttonholing is done on the four center squares. Now I need to do the applique on the outside edge.
Up next is this fun fabric!
This is Java by Deb Strain for Moda. The kitchen at My Hero’s office is orange with coffee cups. This will be a fun project!
There has been knitting going on, but it’s a big green blob. I started an afghan a couple of years ago, and all I found in the knitting bag was the chart. It’s in Victorian Lace Today, so one of these days I’ll figure out what it is and blog it.
And on the home front, My Hero is repairing something in this house almost every day. On Monday he headed up to work on some ice on the roof.
Yes, that is a Santa hat and he’s wearing Dreamboy’s goggles to protect from flying ice chunks. And they were flying. Sorry, ladies! He’s my goofball. Find your own.
Ok, gotta go warm up the taxi!

I really, really like the red, green and yellow quilt. Very spring, which something I won’t be seeing here for a very long time. Yes. It’s snowing. Again.

Your productivity is really impressive! I have been working all afternoon just cutting the fabric for a Slideshow quilt by Atkinson’s designs. Your hubby looks great with the hat and goggles!

I truly believe our dear hubbys are twins seperated at birth! I LOL’D when I scrolled down to his pic. 🙂

I like your quilts and I am especially in awe of your knitting skill. I’ve mastered knit and purl! As for goofballs, you should see the sweatshirt that I just confiscated from him that he has actually worn in public — it was the brightest yellow in the universe.
