Passing Down Crazy

Because Sometimes the Best Thing You Can Give Your Kid is an Addiction…To Yarn

Coffee and Kids

I finished the coffee quilt.  It just doesn’t look very exciting in the photos!

The fabric is Java by Deb Strain for Moda.  The pattern is a charm pack KAL by KarrieLyne of Freckled Whimsey. I used 3 charm packs, background fabric, and border fabric.  I may be over using charm packs.  They’re just not very accurate!  I made all the half square triangles and cut them down, but the four patches are a bit wonky!

This quilt is going in the kitchen in My Hero’s office.  It should be perfect.  The kitchen is tan and burnt orange and has a coffee cup border.

Here’s further proof that I’m crazy!

Some of the pieces in this project are 3/4 by 1 1/2.  Yes, that’s three quarters of an inch.  More on that soon!

And!!!!!!!!  I’m Passing Down Crazy!  I’m off to the airport to pick up The Genius.  I’m sure there will be quilting and knitting going on for the next 10 days.  (I guess I’m going to have to let her do a bunch of school work too.  Darn!)
