Because Sometimes the Best Thing You Can Give Your Kid is an Addiction…To Yarn

Spaz Attack!

I’m pretty sure I have the attention span of a toddler right now.

Ohhhh!  Pretty fabric.  I want an apron.

Ohhhh!!!  Look!  Roving that looks like cotton candy!

Merino/Tencel blend by Tactile Dactyl on etsy.

230 yards of pretty pink that I have no idea what I’m going to do with.  At least I finished something though!

Ohhhh!!!   Look!  Ugh!  A mountain of laundry.  I did that yesterday.

I see pretty yarn!!!  I want to cast on.  Right now!

I started the Eventide Shawl by Susan Pandorf.  The yarn is Wollmeise lace.

Oh, wow!  Pretty snow!  Yep, another snowstorm, and a snow day.   Only in Minnesota can it rain and thunder and then snow like crazy an hour later.  That’s snow stuck to the window.

Oh, pretty colors!

This will either be a train wreck or really pretty yarn to put in a bowl, because I don’t know what I’ll ever knit with it.  Although…since I have the attention span of a toddler, maybe I could dress like one.

Gotta go.  All that color is calling me!

  1. Maria – I think cabin fever has finally done it’s toll on you 🙂 We need Spring desperately so you can get outside and do some gardening and get away from all those fiber temptations. We had the thunder & lightning with snow last night also in WI and my son is on his 2nd snow day of the winter. When will the warm weather win out?

  2. you started a Pandorf shawl? What are you – some kind of a nut-in-a-hut??? That’s like me saying – gee, I think I’ll go out and shovel the north 40 in a bathing suit! (oh, and it IS snowing here in new york state!) Fun posting – great colors!

  3. That roving looks like a gumball machine!! Purrrty. Have fun and….glad you’re back.

  4. Wow! From fabric and fibre to snow! My favourite things, all, except I’ve had enough snow for now and want warmth. But your snow is still pretty, as long as it doesn’t cross over the border. Spaz attacks rule!
