Passing Down Crazy

Because Sometimes the Best Thing You Can Give Your Kid is an Addiction…To Yarn

Where’s The Truck That Hit Me?

I worked on our yard all day yesterday.  The pots are all planted and when My Hero got home, we tackled the one big flower bed.  The entire thing was taken over by that long grass that has roots to China.  We got a lot of it done.

Today…I feel like a very old lady.  I took one photo of my pots, but I’m so lazy, I stood in the doorway and used the zoom lens.

Check out that flowering crab!!!  And its rainy again, but look how green everything is.

I also finished spinning the yarn I need for the shawl I showed in the last post.

I’m really pleased with this.  It’s more even than the first skein.  I guess practice really does make perfect.  It’s not perfect, but it’s improving.

In a little bit (if I can get my backside off the couch!) I’m going to Superblonde and Dreamboy’s awards ceremony.  After that, I have to get Frankie to church for a rainy miserable camping trip. He’s excited!

Ok, I’m going to think about get off the couch…..soon!

  1. I think you mean crabgrass…very bad stuff. Your yarn is beautiful!!

  2. That type of grass you’re talking about – the spidery kind – it a killer to remove. I’d love to be a gardener. Unfortunately around here it’s called yard work.
