Passing Down Crazy

Because Sometimes the Best Thing You Can Give Your Kid is an Addiction…To Yarn

They’re Making Me Crazy!

I may be passing down crazy, but this household is making me crazy too!  There were still kids roaming around after midnight last night.  So what did I do?  I stayed up until 4 AM.  Because it was quiet.  And then I wonder why my brain won’t function.

I worked on this quilt!

I worked on my Camp Loopy mitten.

And I blocked the test knit.  More on all three projects when I’ve gotten some sleep!  I’m also doing a giveaway with the finished quilt!

Today, Ms In Charge and Frankie blew up all the airbeds to see which ones had holes in them.  Then they proceeded to ride them down the stairs.  Fortunately, nobody got hurt. And there are airbeds all over.  Several of them will be thrown away!

Then Ms In Charge decided to put the dogs ears in a ponytail.

She was less than pleased, let me tell you!

And now it’s 12 hours after I went to bed and my house is a mess, and I haven’t thought about dinner.  I should probably go be an adult for a few hours.

Anybody want to come over and knit with me?  It’s so relaxing around here.  Not!  I can guarantee you’ll be entertained though.

School starts  5 weeks from today.  Just sayin’.

  1. Glad to know I’m not the only one with a crazy house! (And I stay up almost that late too!)

  2. Five weeks, you say? I’ve been afraid to count. An eighteen year old, a fifteen year old, and three thirteen year old girls at one time…it’s either all bliss or all bad, no in between. I will be ready for school this year. Not a quiet moment to be found here. And what’s with the late hours? I told the girls I wanted light OUT by midnight last night. They acted as if I had asked them to scub the toilet with their toothbrush. I don’t get it. LOL!

  3. oh my – i have three of those fabrics! I love them. The mittens look juicy. I miss a house full of smiling children!! Enjoy every moment while you have them!

  4. I love the bright happy colors you picked out for your quilt.

  5. The kids look like they’re having some serious fun! At least it looks like your stairs are carpeted to prevent any serious injury. The dog may not be impressed but looks cool and cute. LOL
And there is always a price to pay for high quality entertainment. Wish I lived closer to you!

  6. I’m a night owl, too!
