A little bit of collecting!
The mini bin is getting full!!!
A little bit of knitting every day!
Well, actually more than a little bit of knitting. I’ve finished 11 charts of this shawl and I only only have 5 left, but in terms of yarn use, I’m only about 60% finished. There are over 500 stitches per row at this point. It’s slow going, but will be so worth it!
There has been a little bit of spinning!
A little bit of spinning added up to 470 yards of merino and silk softness. The fiber is Blue Moon Fiber Arts and the color way is I Mad Heart You. It’s the first skein spun on my new cherry Matchless.
And we’re waiting for a snowstorm.
Oh, that’s not a snowstorm. That’s a lazy dog, burrowed into a down comforter.
We were supposed to get this huge snowstorm with about a foot of snow. It’s now been downgraded to 2-4 inches and we’re not happy! We really want to snowmobile at least once this winter!
The only good thing about less snow is that My Hero and I are leaving for Florida tomorrow. He has three days of work, but I’m going to knit!!! I really want to finish that shawl, and those mini skeins are calling my name too!
If I blog from Florida, it will just be a crappy iPhone post. I’m leaving my big camera home!
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow…..please????
