When I opened my knitting bag the other day, I just had to laugh.
All three of my projects have a lot in common.
The first project is Fiar by Irish Girlie Knits. The yarn is 5 different Plucky Knitter skeins from her Classics club.
This is a chevron shawl knit with Noro Flower Bed. It’s been my brainless knitting for the last two years, so it’s been to lots of concerts and sporting events. I’m really sick of it and would love to be done with it.
Last but not least is my mini skein blanket. I think I traded enough mini skeins that I have about 500 mini skeins. That’s probably enough for several blankets!
My mom came up with the name “Wild Thing” for it, and it really is wild, but I love it.
I have another quilt finished, so as soon as I stitch binding, I’ll show you that. And…there’s a king size quilt on the longarm. I’ve also been doing some spinning, and will be doing a lot more in the next few weeks. I told my mom the other day that I have about 42 things I’d like to knit right now, and about 43 messes to clean up around this house. Guess what’s winning???
Now I’m off to fold a load of laundry and get back to that quilting machine!
