Kids World Quilt and Trees

This morning I hiked it out to My Hero’s office and shoved some furniture aside to lay out the monster quilt.

That looks like a lot of empty space to decorate!!!

Then I had an artist from our church come and draw the tree.

I was so thrilled when she finished.  It’s exactly what I had in my head.

Now I’m going to go sit in the sun and start not thinking about how I’m going to get that tree from paper to fabric and on to the quilt.

And I have some new summer lace yarn and a pattern that I’m going to hang out with for the afternoon!

Tomorrow morning….I’m going to grow a tree.  Sounds so easy, doesn’t it?  I’m guessing it will take three days.  That just means it will take at least 5!

See ya in the sun!
