I’m sitting here in my “office” playing with Martinique, an older line of Moda fabric by Three Sisters. It’s just not talking to me.
I guess I’ll just knit. I’m knitting Miss Dashwood with Blue Sky alpaca silk. It’s my August Camp Loopy project. The rules stated that 800 yards must be knit in August. I’m a bit behind since the yarn didn’t arrive before we left on our bus trip.
I’m getting lots of knitting done because I’ve been spending lots of time sitting outside. It’s been in the low 70’s since we got home. I need to make up for spending all my time inside earlier this summer, working on the ginormous quilt. Today I’ve been knitting and running back in to start the next load of laundry and folding a load, and then heading out to knit again. Tough life, huh?
I love these zinnias. Miss In Charge planted some seeds for a science experiment this spring. We’re all quite impressed with the results.
I’d better get back to my knitting.
