Passing Down Crazy

Because Sometimes the Best Thing You Can Give Your Kid is an Addiction…To Yarn

Merry Valentine’s Day!

I did a little decorating this morning!

Nope!  I haven’t taken the tree down yet!  Superblonde had the brilliant idea right after Christmas to decorate the tree for Valentine’s Day.  She now says it was because she didn’t want to help take down the tree.  Oh, well! (Yes!  That’s Nascar on the tv in the background.  Hallelujah!)

I took all of the gold ornaments off the tree and left the lime green and purple.  I bought a couple of things at Target.  The big hearts are puffy foam.  They came in a huge package.

There are noises about an Easter tree and a 4th of July tree.  We’ll see how long suffering My Hero is.

I finished piecing a quilt.  I don’t love it, but some cool quilting may help.

The fabric is Frolic by Sandy Gervais for Moda.  The pattern is a freebie from Moda Bake Shop, called Easy as Cake.  I’m kind of done making quilts with great big pieces.  I like more detail than this.

I quilted an entire quilt yesterday and have another one loaded and ready to go.  More on that next week.

What else did I do this week?  I have to think.  We went to one basketball game, but missed the second one because Dreamboy got the stomach flu.  I ordered new glasses.  I did 11 loads of laundry.  I ran Mom’s taxi service.  I cooked, but not much.  It seems like everyone was here and there all week.

And I quilted.  A lot!  It was a good week.

I’m off to the grocery store.  There’s a teen party here tonight.  Pizza, Mountain Dew, and chocolate chip cookies are on the menu!
